Questions contractors ask
Do I need a computer, or will a phone do?
The office team usually works on a laptop for BOQ and estimates. Site supervisors only need a phone with a browser to update tasks, site visits and, soon, attendance.
My supervisor is not comfortable with software. Will this work?
Supervisors see only the tasks given to them, with one dropdown and a Save button per task. Nothing else on their screen.
Can I bring my existing Excel BOQ?
Yes. Make one BOQ in BuildMetric the way you do in Excel, then copy it into new projects and change quantities and rates. Our team can help set up your first templates during onboarding.
Will my client see my costing and margin?
No. The client estimate shows one line per work with your final rate. The detailed BOQ, cost and margin stay inside your company login.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Pay ₹8,999 + GST for a year to continue. If you do not pay, your data stays safe and you can pay later to continue where you left off.
